Four Continent E-VLBI with HartRAO 2008/05/22
The first e-VLBI to Africa took place on 2008 May 05, connecting the 26-m
radio telescope at Hartebeesthoek in South Africa to work with the European
VLBI Network in real time.
Another milestone occurred on 2008 May 22, when the 26-m Hartebeesthoek
dish was connected to operate in real time with radio telescopes on three
other continents - Europe, North America and South America.
